After a longer construction period, employees have today settled into the newly completed building at Batterivej 2, 4220 Korsør, which will now serve as the Authority’s official address.

The building previously served as an operations centre under the Danish Maritime Authority, where work included the maintenance of buoyant aids to navigation and lights. Now, the former workshop has been transformed into a modern office environment – with the maritime heritage still reflected in many of its details.

With the move, the Danish Maritime Authority has said goodbye to its former locations at Caspar Brands Plads and Nygade.
